Built in 1890 the magnificent blue stone Chateau Tanunda is a truly awe-inspiring place to visit - just a short walk from Tanunda village and a highlight of any visit to the Barossa. The Chateau (as it is known by Barossans) is situated on the highest point of the valley floor and affords panoramic views of the Barossa Valley to the Barossa Ranges. After extension heritage restoration, the impressive Chateau is accessible to the public once again and offers a barrel filled Cellar Door and atmospheric function rooms as well as the features described below.
