Flinders Ranges & Outback

The Flinders Ranges and Outback is the largest region in South Australia. The world's most isolated pub, the William Creek Hotel, is a stopping point for travellers on their way to the gigantic salt lake Lake Eyre, which at 8000 square kilometres is more than ten times the size of Singapore.

About 85% of the world's opals are produced around Coober Pedy, in the north of South Australia.
