Barossa

The Barossa is Australia's richest and best-known wine region. Premium wines, five-star restaurants and cellar doors abound in the vineyards and undulating hills.

About 500 grape growing families, many sixth-generation, continue to supply about 60,000 tonnes of grapes to more than 50 winemakers including household names like Seppelts, Penfolds and Peter Lehmann.
