The town's first hotel, aptly named the Flinders, was constructed right on the seafront, with its views across the bay in 1866. In 1968 it became the Streaky Bay Community Hotel Motel. The hotel has now been extensively renovated and provides high standard, inviting accommodation for patrons in all its areas.
