The historic Adelaide Botanic Garden on North Terrace, founded in 1855 and opened in 1857 is the headquarters of the organisation in South Australia.
It features a glorious Victorian gardenesque landscape, including avenues of mature trees particularly Araucaria and figs and important garden buildings, ie Museum of Economic Botany, Palm House and Victoria House, and statuary.
