Adding and Resizing Images
Adding Images
At the bottom of your Add Listing page you can add you up to 4 images for your listing. They all need to be less than 350KB each. Photos that come out of a camera will often be many times that. We suggest you prepare your image(s) before you start adding a listing. To reduce the file size of the image you will need to reduce the physical size of your image(s). Click here to see how easy it is to do that with an online image resize program we found on the internet.
1. Locate the following
2. Click on Add an image
3. Click on Choose
4. This will take you to your hard drive to choose your image of choice. When you have done this and pressed OK it will show as a reference in the field below.
5. You can then press 'Add Image' up to three more times. When you have finished you are ready to Submit your listing.
Resizing Your Images
We ask that you resize your images to 500px wide. (Note if your image is less than 500 pixels wide (unlikely) then you do not need to resize your image.) This will ensure their file size will be under the limit for each image upload. This helps a lot in keeping the storage space down and hence our costs. To facilitate this, we recommend using an online service if you do not have an image editor. We found this FREE online service that worked well for us in our tests.
1. Click on Quick Resize. This will drop down a box that we will deal with in a minute.
2. Click on Quick Resize.
3. Select the file of your choice and double click the file or press OK.
4. It will reference back to the page like below. Select the file of your choice and double click the file or press OK.

Set Custom Size = 500px
Save as = jpg
(If you have more than one to do then select the checkbox - 'Remember my settings for next time' )
6. Press 'Resize Pic'.
7. You will come to a screen like this once your image has loaded. Save to your hard drive and then use that image to load into your listing.
